Copper is known as a good conductor for electricity and is also reasonably resistant to corrosion. The internationally established standard for the use of copper cables is limited to 90 metres, since the quality of performance is drastically reduced at longer distances.
If you want to build a copper cable network, you must decide in advance what speed your network requires. Which throughput speed do you need? Your network must be suitable for a Gigabit network or a 10-Gigabit network. Depending on this, you can choose Cat6, Cat6A or Cat7 cable, shielded or unshielded, U/UTP, U/FTP, F/FTP or S/SFP. A cat 6A or cat 7 cable achieves speeds of up to 1,000 Mbit/s and a throughput speed of 500 MHz to 1250 Mhz. A Cat7 cable, on the other hand, achieves speeds of up to 10,000Mbit/s and a throughput speed of 600Mhz or more.
You have the choice to have us finish the copper cables or to handle them yourself. For each cable, we have custom connectors and patch panels available.
