Fibreoptics are made of fine glass fibres that transmit the signal at lightning speed. For distances longer than 90 metres, the best choice is fibreoptics, because distance has almost no effect on the performance of fibreoptics.
You have the choice
- To have us finish the fibreoptic cable. Our pre-terminated fibreoptic cable is available from 4 to 24 fibres, in single-mode or multimode, in a loose tube or tight buffer construction, always including a pull spring at both ends and with LC, SC or ST connectors.
- Finish the fibreoptic cable yourself. You have the choice of fibreoptic cable from 4 to 114 fibres. You get the length you have chosen on the reel and can also buy the necessary pigtails, fibreoptic patch panels and other supplies from us.
- Only purchase the materials from us and have them installed by your regular installer.
You must also take into account the strict CPR (Construction Products Regulations) regulations regarding fire safety. The underlying harmonized standard here is EN13501-6 standard and in Belgium the Cca s1d1a1 provision has been chosen. For outdoors, you can choose from the Cca, Dca or Eca CPR standard.
